James Chen is the Creative Director at Extase Solution, bringing over 10 years of experience in brand strategy, digital design, and creative leadership. He has led design initiatives for clients across fintech, SaaS, e-commerce, and media — consistently translating complex business challenges into clear, compelling digital experiences that resonate with users and drive measurable growth.
James earned his Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and Visual Communication from the Royal College of Art, where he developed a strong foundation in typography, brand systems, and user-centred design thinking. He graduated with distinction and received the Vice-Chancellor's Award for Outstanding Creative Achievement.
Following four years of industry experience, James returned to study for his Master's degree, specialising in Creative Direction and Digital Strategy. His thesis — exploring the intersection of data-informed design and emotional brand storytelling — was recognised as one of the top submissions of the year and later published in a leading design journal.
